Is there a non-China alternative to Amass XT60 connectors for this XT60 extension cable?
Yes. TeleWire Technology builds this XT60 extension cable with either genuine Amass XT60 connectors or Taiwan-made compatible connectors that mate with Amass XT60 housings. The Taiwan-made option gives OEM programs a non-China second source for supply-chain diversification without redesigning the mating interface. Samples are available so you can verify mating and fit before a production order (MOQ 50 pcs).
Are XT60 extension cables suitable for drone wire harnesses?
Yes. XT60 is the most common battery connector on 4S–6S multirotor drones, and TeleWire Technology builds XT60 extensions into drone wire harnesses to relocate the battery lead or reach a rear-mounted pack. High-strand silicone wire in 12 or 14 AWG stays flexible under vibration and rates to +200 °C.
What wire gauge should an XT60 extension use?
Use 12 AWG for loads near the XT60's 30 A continuous rating and 14 AWG for lighter loads or longer runs where weight matters. Voltage drop rises with length, so specify the shortest length that routes cleanly. Custom lengths from 6 to 36 inches and beyond are available on request.
