TE Connectivity 839018-E MiniBridge 4-Pin 1.27mm - Flat Ribbon Cable Assembly

  • TE Connectivity ERNI MiniBridge Part 839018-E: a factory-assembled 4-position, 1.27 mm single-row flat ribbon cable assembly with an insulation-displacement (IDC/IDCCS) socket (SFX) connector terminated on each end, on standard PVC ribbon. The assembly is the SRC (Single Row Cable) receptacle-to-receptacle build in the MiniBridge 4-pin configuration and is intended as a board-to-board jumper between two MiniBridge male header mates on separate PCBs.
  • Terminated on AWG 26, 7-strand tinned-copper flat ribbon on 1.27 mm conductor centers, with the connector system rated for continuous service from -55 °C to +150 °C per the ERNI MiniBridge SRC product specification. The standard PVC ribbon on 839018-E limits the assembled cable to approximately +105 °C; higher-temperature service up to +125 °C is supported by substituting the TPE-ET high-temperature cable variant, available on request.
  • Custom overall length (shorter or longer than the stock 300 mm), alternative cable variant (standard PVC, high-temperature TPE-ET for +125 °C service, or halogen-free TPE-O), alternative end configuration (single-ended pigtail, socket-to-plug, plug-to-plug), and alternative locking variant (standard friction, red interlocking tool-release, or Koshiri scoop-proof housing) available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock MiniBridge configurations or for volume pricing on the 839018-E.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
