Drone / UAV
Custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies for commercial drone and UAV platforms — multirotor mapping and survey rigs, agricultural and inspection drones, tethered observation systems, and racing / FPV builds. Engineered, assembled, and 100% electrically tested in Taiwan since 1998.
What We Build For Drone/ UAV.
Most UAV programs spend a year optimizing the airframe and a weekend specifying the harness. We've built drone wire harnesses for twenty-eight years — and it shows in the parts engineers keep on revision B.
Our UAV practice covers commercial mapping and survey rigs, agricultural and inspection multirotors, tethered observation platforms, and racing / FPV builds — power, signal, RF, and flex assemblies on one bill of materials.
The same line in Taiwan wires all of it — from a single feasibility unit on the bench to fifty-thousand-piece annual runs. Send a sketch, a BOM, or a competitor sample, and we return a design-for-manufacture review in three business days.

3 Product Families Do Most Of The Work.
Motor lead set
14–22 AWG silicone, soldered or crimped to XT60 / MR30 / JST. Balanced lengths, color-coded per phase.
Gimbal flex harness
28–32 AWG polyimide cores in TPE jacket. Rolling fatigue rated for 10 k+ pan / tilt cycles, EMI shielded.
RTK GNSS feedline
1.13 mm or RG316 coax. U.FL or MMCX, optional phase-match. IL ≤ 1.2 dB/m at 1.6 GHz.

Drawing review
Send a sketch, BOM, competitor sample, or CAD model. Engineering replies within one business day with first-pass feasibility.
DFM feedback
Tolerance, crimp dies, jacket and connector alternates. Tooling and NRE quote included in the first round, with proposed changes marked on your drawing.
Sample build
Single-unit or small-batch on the production line, 100% electrical-tested before shipment. Photos and test data sent before the air freight pickup.
PPAP / First Article
Dimensional, electrical and materials reports included. Customer drawing markup approval before production release.
Production
100% electrical test on every assembly. Packaged, labeled and shipped per drawing. Optional LA-bonded inventory for monthly delivery schedules.
Frequently asked questions
What's the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a custom drone harness?
50 pieces for a typical UAV harness. Prototype runs of 1–10 units are billed at sample rate and ship in the first week, so you can validate fit and routing before committing to a production lot.
Do you ship from a US warehouse?
or repeat customers on monthly delivery schedules, we bond inventory in Los Angeles. First production runs ship direct from our plant in Taiwan by air freight, typically 3–5 days in transit.
How do you weight-optimize a UAV harness versus a standard build?
Three levers: thinner-wall insulation (PFA instead of PVC), copper-clad aluminum conductors on signal lines, and surface-mount tab termination in place of bulk connectors. A typical multirotor harness drops 12–22% in weight by revision B.
Can you co-engineer with our connector vendor?
Yes. We hold crimp dies and termination specs for TE Connectivity, Molex, Amphenol, JST, JAE, Hirose, Deutsch, and Phoenix Contact. For proprietary or rare connectors, send three free samples and we'll cut crimp dies in week one.
How fast will I hear back on an RFQ?
Our engineering team replies to quote requests within one business day, including feasibility, a tooling/NRE estimate where relevant, and a sample lead time. Send a drawing, BOM, or a description of the application to start.
