  • TE Connectivity 1658621-2 (AMP-LATCH NOVO 14-position receptacle, gold-plated, with center and military polarization, lead-free): a dual-end flat ribbon cable assembly terminated with a 1658621-2 receptacle on each end, 14 circuits in a 2-row × 7-position configuration on a 2.54 mm (0.100 in) pitch, built on standard 1.27 mm conductor centerline, 28 AWG flat ribbon cable. The AMP-LATCH NOVO low-profile housing carries both center and military polarization features, mechanically preventing mis-orientation against any same-pin-count header that lacks both polarization features.
  • Terminated on 1.27 mm conductor centerline flat ribbon cable, 26 to 28 AWG stranded copper, with an AMP-LATCH NOVO operating temperature range of -65 °C to +105 °C across the housing, contact system, and IDC termination. 
  • Rated 1.0 A per contact, 250 V AC working voltage, with 5000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance and the housing flammability rated UL 94 V-0. The IDC contact accepts mating headers or pin connectors with 0.64 mm (0.025 in) square or round posts of 4.44–6.22 mm (0.175–0.245 in) length, which covers the standard pin geometry of TE's full 2.54 mm header range and competitive equivalents.
  • Specified for industrial PLC and motion-controller backplane wiring; server, switch, and router internal harnessing; telecom rack interconnect; instrument and test-equipment chassis wiring; medical electronic backplanes; military and aerospace ground-support equipment; broadcast and pro-AV infrastructure; and any 2.54 mm IDC ribbon application.
