I-PEX 20453-030T CABLINE-VS 30-Pin 0.5mm Pitch Dual-End - Flat Ribbon Cable Assembly

  • Dual-end micro-coaxial cable assembly terminated with an I-PEX 20453-030T CABLINE-VS plug on each end, 30 positions on a 0.5 mm pitch, configured 1:1 (straight-through) on AWG 40 micro-coaxial conductors in a laminated flat-cable form factor.
  • Built on AWG 40 individually-shielded micro-coaxial cable, with a CABLINE-VS family operating temperature of -20 °C to +85 °C across the connector housing, contact system, and shielding frame.
  • Rated 0.3 A AC/DC per contact at AWG 40 per the I-PEX CABLINE-VS specification (with derating curves up to 1.0 A per contact when populated with heavier conductors in the family), 50 V AC/DC working voltage, and qualified for high-data-rate transmission up to 32 Gbps per lane on the CABLINE-VS connector itself — actual aggregate throughput is gated by the cable build, the AWG 40 conductor on this stocked variant being optimized for short to mid-length display links rather than maximum-rate server interconnect.
  • Custom overall length, alternative cable form factor (laminated flat ribbon-style or round bundled micro-coax), alternative pinout configuration (straight-through 1:1, mirrored, or custom-mapped — including 1:30 unprocessed-pigtail breakouts to bare AWG 28 strands), heavier conductor gauge (AWG 38 or AWG 36 family variants for higher current), pull-bar feature (I-PEX part 2576) for secure mating retention, and shielding/ground configuration available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock CABLINE-VS configurations.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
