Deutsch DT04-6P to DT06-6S 6-Pin Mated Pair Sealed - Custom Wire Harness

  • Mated 6-position Deutsch DT-series harness pairing a DT04-6P receptacle (six size-16 male pins) with a DT06-6S plug (six size-16 female sockets), terminated end-to-end as a dual-end assembly. Both connectors use the Deutsch DT thermoplastic housing with integrated wedgelock secondary lock, peripheral silicone face seal, and individual rear wire seals for environmental sealing across all six cavities.
  • Accepts 14, 16, 18, and 20 AWG stranded wire on the size-16 stamped-and-formed contacts, with a manufacturer-rated continuous operating temperature of -55 °C to +125 °C across the connector housing, seals, and contact system.
  • Rated 13 A continuous current per contact at 500 V DC working voltage, sealed to IP68 and IP69K (IEC 60529) when fully assembled with cavity plugs in unused positions, and qualified to UL 94 V-0 flammability for the housing material.
  • Custom wire gauge, overall length, insulation style (TXL, GXL, SXL, GPT per SAE J1128, or UL 1015 / UL 1028), color code, and contact plating available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock configurations, including jacketed, braided, or convoluted-tubing-protected variants.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
