Amass XT60 Male to XT90 Female LiPo Battery Adapter - Custom Cable Assembly

  • Dual-end 2-core adapter cable terminated with an Amass XT60 male connector on one end and an Amass XT90 female housing on the other, used to interface an XT60-equipped battery pack with an XT90-input ESC, charger, or distribution board without soldering on a replacement connector.
  • Available in 10, 12, and 14 AWG with high-strand silicone insulation (−65 °C to +200 °C) or PVC where cost dominates, in stock lengths of 6, 12, 18, 24, and 36 inches, with red/black polarity coding as standard and optional heat-shrink sleeving over the two conductors.
  • XT60 connector rated 30 A continuous and up to 60 A peak at 500 V DC, while the XT90 is rated 90 A continuous and up to 120 A peak at 500 V DC per Amass X-series specification — making the XT60 interface the current-limiting element of the finished assembly at 30 A continuous.
  • Used as battery-to-ESC adapter cabling on FPV and long-range drones stepping up to XT90-input flight controllers, e-bike and electric scooter battery swaps, RC aircraft and boats, bench-test power delivery, and LiPo charger leads where a shop's charging station is standardized on XT90 while packs ship with XT60.
  • Custom wire gauge (8–14 AWG), overall length, silicone or PVC insulation, red/black or same-color configuration, heat-shrink sheathing, and antispark XT90S (pre-charge) variant on the XT90 side available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock builds.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
