Amass XT60 Female to DC5521 5.5x2.1mm Male Barrel Plug - Custom Cable Assembly
- Dual-end power adapter cable terminated with an Amass XT60 female socket on one end and a DC5521 (5.5 mm × 2.1 mm) male barrel plug on the other, center-positive by default, for routing battery-pack power into DC-jack-input electronics.
- Available in 14, 16, or 18 AWG with high-strand silicone or PVC insulation, in stock lengths of 6, 12, 18, 24, and 36 inches, with red/black polarity coding and optional center-negative DC5521 polarity on request.
- XT60 connector rated 30 A continuous / 60 A peak at up to 500 V DC per Amass specification, while the DC5521 barrel terminus is rated 5 A at 24 V DC — making the barrel plug the current-limiting element of the finished assembly.
- Used to deliver LiPo or Li-ion pack power into DC-input devices such as FPV monitors, ground-station radios, goggle chargers, 12V LED strips, Starlink terminals, Wi-Fi routers, and bench test instruments run from drone or UPS-style battery packs.
- Custom wire gauge, overall length, silicone or PVC insulation, DC5521 polarity orientation, and inline ATC fuse or switch options available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock builds.

Can't find what you need?
We specialize in custom sourcing and manufacturing. Upload your spec sheet or drawing, and our engineering team will provide a quote within 24 hours.
What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?
To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:
- Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
- Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?
Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.
We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.
How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?
Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:
- 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
- Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
- Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
- Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
