Amass XT60-F to M8 O-Ring Terminal Lug - Custom Cable Assembly

  • Single-ended pigtail cable terminated with an Amass XT60 female connector on one end and two crimped M8 (5/16 in) tinned copper ring terminal lugs on the other, configured for direct stud-mount termination at a battery post, busbar, contactor, or solar charge controller terminal block.
  • Available in 10, 12, and 14 AWG with high-strand silicone insulation (−65 °C to +200 °C) or PVC where cost dominates, in stock lengths of 6, 12, 18, 24, and 36 inches, with red/black polarity coding, color-coded heat-shrink barrels at the lug, and optional M5, M6, M8, or M10 ring stud sizes.
  • XT60 connector rated 30 A continuous and up to 60 A peak at 500 V DC per Amass X-series specification, mated to UL-listed tinned copper compression ring terminals — making the connector the current-limiting element of the finished pigtail at 30 A continuous.
  • Used as battery-to-busbar and battery-to-stud-terminal cabling for portable power stations, off-grid solar systems with stud-terminal charge controllers and inverters, e-bike and e-scooter battery banks, UPS retrofits, RV house-battery distribution, and bench DC supplies where one end plugs into an XT60 pack interface and the other bolts directly to a threaded stud.
  • Custom wire gauge (8–16 AWG), overall length, silicone or PVC insulation, ring lug stud size (M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, or AWG-style 1/4 in / 5/16 in / 3/8 in), red/black or all-black configuration, and inline ATC fuse holder available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock builds.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
