Amass XT30U Male to Female LiPo Battery Extension - Custom Cable Assembly
- Dual-end 2-core extension cable terminated with an Amass XT30U male connector on one end and an XT30U female on the other, used to extend an XT30-equipped LiPo or Li-ion battery lead without splicing — the "U" housing variant adds a vertical PCB-mount-style sheath that improves grip strength and strain relief over the original XT30.
- Available in 14, 16, and 18 AWG with high-strand silicone insulation (−65 °C to +200 °C) or PVC where cost dominates, in stock lengths of 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 inches, with red/black polarity coding as standard and optional heat-shrink sleeving over the parallel conductors.
- XT30U connector rated 15 A continuous and up to 30 A peak at 500 V DC per Amass X-series specification, with gold-plated copper contacts in a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon housing rated to 280 °C — making the XT30U interface itself the current-limiting element of the finished extension at 15 A continuous.
- Used as battery-to-ESC and battery-to-flight-controller extension cabling on 1S–4S FPV cinewhoops and tinywhoops, micro and sub-250 g quadcopters, small RC aircraft and surface vehicles, indoor racing drones, and bench-test rigs where the stock pigtail is too short to route cleanly to the receiver or VTX.
- Custom wire gauge (14–20 AWG), overall length, silicone or PVC insulation, red/black or all-black configuration, heat-shrink or braided sheathing, and antispark XT30PW or PCB-mount variant on either end available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock builds.

Can't find what you need?
We specialize in custom sourcing and manufacturing. Upload your spec sheet or drawing, and our engineering team will provide a quote within 24 hours.
What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?
To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:
- Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
- Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?
Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.
We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.
How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?
Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:
- 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
- Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
- Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
- Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
