Amass XT30(2+2)-F Dual-End 4-Pin Power Extension - Custom Cable Assembly

  • Dual-end 4-conductor extension cable terminated with an Amass XT30(2+2) female connector on each end, combining two main XT30 power contacts (15 A each) with two auxiliary signal contacts in one housing — the standard interface for smart-battery telemetry, BMS communication, balance leads, and ID-pin wiring on FPV and small UAV systems.
  • Available in 16, 18, and 20 AWG silicone for the two power conductors and 22 to 26 AWG silicone for the two signal conductors, in stock lengths of 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 inches, with red/black power coding, white/yellow or blue/green signal coding, and optional heat-shrink or expandable-braid sheathing over the four-wire bundle.
  • XT30 main power contacts rated 15 A continuous and up to 30 A peak at 500 V DC per Amass X-series specification, with the two auxiliary signal contacts rated approximately 5 A each — gold-plated copper contacts in a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon housing rated to 280 °C, with the power pins remaining the current-limiting element of the finished cable.
  • Used as smart-battery and telemetry extension cabling on FPV cinewhoops and sub-250 g drones with battery ID pins, BMS-managed Li-ion packs requiring SMBus or balance-line passthrough, small UAVs with battery health reporting, and bench fixtures where pack power and a 1-Wire or I²C telemetry channel must travel together in a single connector.
  • Custom power gauge (16–22 AWG), signal gauge (22–28 AWG), overall length, silicone or PVC insulation, signal-conductor color coding, heat-shrink or braided sheathing, and male/female end gender swaps available on request — submit a quote request for non-stock builds.

What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom wire harness?

To provide an accurate quote and lead time, please provide:

  1. Technical Drawing or Diagram: Showing pinouts, lengths, and tolerances.
  2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Listing specific connectors (MPN) and wire gauges (AWG).
  3. Estimated Annual Usage (EAU): Helping us optimize pricing for your volume. Note: If you do not have a formal drawing, our engineering team can help create one based on your physical sample.
Can you suggest cost-saving alternatives for expensive connectors (e.g., TE, Molex, JST)?

Yes. We offer variety of alternative components.

We have extensive supply chain relationships in Taiwan and can suggest"Functionally Equivalent"alternatives that are fully compatible with major brands like TE, Molex, or JST but at a significantly lower cost. We will provide datasheets and samples of the alternative components for your approval before production.

How do you ensure quality control for custom cable assemblies?

Every single cable assembly undergoes rigorous testing before leaving our Taiwan facility. Our standard QC process includes:

  • 100% Continuity Testing: Ensuring no opens, shorts, or miswires.
  • Pull Force Testing: Verifying crimp strength.
  • Visual Inspection: Checking for cosmetic defects and label accuracy.
  • Hi-Pot Testing: Available upon request for high-voltage applications to ensure insulation integrity.
